COVID: you really have changed me
This time, there are no self-experienced stories, no will of change. Clear creations have emerged in the most subtle way from Myanmar historic and iconic characters, without faces or background. The viewer dives into the simplicity of an amazing variety of colour compositions and may create its own bright world.
The experiences in our live have a major influence on our creation. These paintings are the creation of pre-military coup and the instinctive expression of the isolated Covid lock down in Myanmar. The minimalist of thought focusing only what is the most meaningful evolved pop art style paintings.
The two main preoccupations are shown in this renewal of old Myanmar history. One is the vivid bright colours as I always love and the another is the culture and tradition behind how we came though these ages.
Even the way Myanmar artists create changed since the military coup. There were many beauties of creation based on our culture before that horrifying time.
This painting is the pure creation came out of the history and the simplicity of colors. Reconstruction the ancient time as a modern pop art style highlighting fashion, flowers as hair accessories, jewels, fabrics and even vehicles (transportation) of that era in a single painting.
